Herman Brood; was all like performances
The Dutch artist Herman Brood was born on November 5, 1946 in Zwolle. Brood received his first piano lessons in 1959. Herman was very intelligent, but did not go to school. He hated to walk along with everyone. He regularly climbed in school through the window to go outside, towards freedom.
Much rather he sat at the piano and endless practice to make himself own difficult chords. The piano stood in the living room. Long night were made , preferably in the dark , he practiced playing the piano. Herman went in 1964 to the Academy of Arts in Arnhem and founded The Moans. The band did a lot of shows for US troops in West Germany and Brood was sometimes a pill imputed to stay awake . So his addiction began.
