The Groningen singer- songwriter is known as Henkus. In 2002 he won the audience during GPVN and 3FM demo award. The single ?She's the girl? was a minor hit and made especially in North Netherlands for fame.

Marije Dijkstra - Yn it wetter (from Friesland)

The year 2014 was for the thirteen year old Marije Dijkstra from Feanwâlden closed in a special way. It started a few months ago. Marije came with her father , in the studio of Peter van der Ploeg , where she said she had written a personal Frisian song " Yn It Wetter". When she sang with the guitar, Peter was so excited, that they decided to work the song further and record it.

Jan Smit & Kraantje Pappie - Handen omhoog (from Groningen)

Kraantje Pappie grew up in Rozenburg near Rotterdam and attended high school in Groningen. Because of his successful judo career he lived for a time in Haarlem. As rapper Kraantje Pappie represents Groningen.

Iris Kroes - Never coming back (from Friesland)

With her voice she delivers goosebumps. Iris Kroes, an artist at heart, pulled her stunning participation in The Voice of Holland out the most. Nearly four million Dutch viewers saw her won the final of The Voice of Holland in January 2012.

Karawane - Bells (from Groningen)

Musician and artist Anne Caesar van Wieren previously took part of the band LPG and mediated project 's Speech, for whom he was also responsible for all the artwork. Further illustrations are found in NRC.next. Now he returns as Karawane and grabs the opportunity to play a new song with a homemade video every first Monday of the month.
