Colors of Silence: portrait of the artist Martin Tissing (1936) is inspired storyteller. Tissing worked at the Academy Minerva in Groningen.
He developed an unique style as an artist : dreamy, poetic, quiet and at the interface between abstraction and figuration. At the Merwedestraat / Vechtstraat ( Rivierenbuurt ) in the city of Groningen is the only bronze statue of him , De Lier actress (1963).
