Aris Leeuwarden did excellent business by winning at home of Rotterdam yesterday. A significant share of that triumph was reserved for Nigel van Oostrum and Quincy Treffers. The pair came from the bankrupt Den Helder, but both players have adapted effortlessly. But what do they actually know about the city of Leeuwarden? Are they now already become a bit ropes?
Handball
It is incredibly exciting in the Lotto Premier League handball. Who will win the last round and play for the playoffs that coveted fourth spot. E&O has the best credentials and is sure to gain the championship pool. Are they playing equal, then it depends on van Houten and Quintus. Korfball
LDODK posted a major victory on KVS from Scheveningen last week. This weekend the team of coach Jan Sjoerd Pool will visit Blauw-Wit. Amsterdammers are in fourth place and are fighting for a spot in the playoffs. Blauw-Wit can't afford losing any points in Gorredijk. LDODK actually have to win to get away from those lower places and to connect with the middle group.
