Episode 22: Young in Groningen
Wednesday, 18 February 2015 at 17.00 hours
Based on the art historian Henk van Os, former director of the Rijksmuseum and art history professor at the RUG of Groningen, the story is told about his contemporaries. These are artists in Groningen in the sixties and seventies, a time of Provo, actions and acclaimed exhibitions.
Van Os knew many artists personally and reminisces Henri de Wolf, Edu Waskowsky , Siep van den Berg and Albert Waalkens. He is an art farmer who started a gallery in his own stable in Finsterwolde.
