    Based on three academy students of the Prins Claus Conservatorium is a touching portrait sketched on the way to the concert stage. Struggle, passion, loneliness and glory alternate in the history of the music students. The makers followed first year, second year and third year students.

    What would you give up to be a good musician? The film won the 2nd prize in the movie audience in the Northern Film Festival 2014 in Leeuwarden.

    The documentary won during the presentation of the best documentary Groninger 2014 awards on January 30th 2014. The film finished first in the category of documentaries. There were eleven nominees. The ceremony took place as part of the International Rotterdam Film Festival in Groningen.
