Harry van Lier - Love me Now (from Groningen)

It’s all about his songs. Harry van Lier writes true-to-the-grit and down-to-earth stories that he puts to equally straightforward music. After a rich career as a sideman, playing bass for notorious artists like his brother Hans van Lier and AA & The Doctors, Harry chose a more adventurous path and recorded his solo-CD ‘DiGaHoLe’.

Swinder - Vier Veur Elf (from Groningen)

Born and raised in the shadow of Groningen city and with a limited vocabulary to Groninger 'moi' singer-songwriter Bass Schröder (1983) wants to know nothing of the dialect spoken in the village for years. So it takes a little decade after hearing the Groninger chansonnier Ede Staal that it falls into place: the Groninger language can be very nice, if you just say nice things, or sings.
