A portrait of the 97-year-old visual artist Abe Kuipers. He recently donated to the Groninger Museum part of his collection of paintings. Kuipers talks about his career, his graphic background, and the city of Groningen.
He attended the School of Applied Arts, was a painter, designer and screen printer. He was a teacher at the AKI in Enschede. In to see the documentary films of himself, recorded with an 8 mm camera. An homage to a fascinating artist who absolutely go its own way.
