In Muziek uit het Noorden are music clips broadcast from artists who come from the north. Known and lesser known artists come by. Weekly with a healthy dose of video clips, something for everyone! In this episode of Muziek uit het Noorden:

Anne-Lie Persson – The Beat of the Drum (from Groningen)

From 2000 to mid 2003, she plays in several major shows in the Benelux and Germany from the events office: "Planet Event". These shows (which she sometimes plays three times a week) combine all the qualities of Anne-Lie. Of course lots of singing, dancing and acting but also demand a lot from her expertise. After this period, Anne-Lie collapsed on several projects and is increasingly growing in singing lessons.

Joost Marsman en Leonie Meijer –Wacht tot ik bij je ben (from Groningen)

Leonie Meijer a Dutch singer and songwriter performed as a singer in the band Material Spirits, but her big break came when she performed as part of the 2010-2011 season of The Voice of Holland, eventually coming in fourth, but it allowed her to begin a recording career. Joost Marsman created with his friends the band IsOokSchitterend (later IOS).

De Troebadoers – Riekdom (from Groningen)

The Groningen dialect and love of Americana brought them together (Alex Vissering, Edwin Jongedijk and Jan Henk de Groot) with no more than a few acoustic guitars, harmonica and mandolin. Own numbers in the Groningen about love, and especially the region will be in the life interspersed with songs from their American heroes (including Willie Nelson, The Band and JJ Cale).

Jan Tekstra – It Wetter (from Friesland)

Jan Tekstra is a musical centipede. In 1989 he began his music career in the band Texx. A year later he comes against Marco Borsato; The two kept in touch and Jan writes the song "Barricade of Love" for the first CD of Borsato. That was the start of a long-term cooperation.
