    In this new season we start with a prominent man in Zwart Wit. Henk Bleker gets interviewed and talks about his life as a former Minister of Secretary of Economic Affairs.

    A politician - pony farmer on the crisis in the farm

    Henk Bleker has an impressive track record. He holds a PhD in Public Administration, was ten years in Groningen deputy, Acting Party Chairman CDA, television director and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs. He is also a breeder of ponies. He lost against Sybrand van Haersma Buma to be lparty leader of the CDA. Bleker is a political risk-taker who does not mince words and quirky views on nature, on embankments, on the agricultural sector.

    He was as a polticus target of nature lobbies and Bleker possesses a disarming spirit that brought him sometimes in risky positions in the media. Meanwhile the former minister involved in livestock and transport and participates in the crisis around the farm, with the low milk prices and high phosphate use. What will happen to the farmer and the landscape in the Netherlands?
