In this episode talks Annette Timmer to Koos Tiemersma about his award-winning book Einum, Frank den Hollander Uut Pitch, a comedy soap opera for theater and Douwe Draaisma about what it means if you're left-handed.
Koos Tiemersma is the author of several novels Frisian. His story Job was in 2000 awarded the Rely Jorritsma Prize and was the basis for his debut novel The ljedder, which won the Rink van der Veld Prize in 2004. Since 2010, he used the pseudonym Froon Akker. For under that name as an e-book published Einum (2012), he gets the Gysbert Japicxprijs on October 10th. According to the jury, he has, with humor but also with an eye for tragedy, a true book written about modern Friesland.
Scientist Douwe Draaisma psychologist and philosopher, affiliated with the University of Groningen. He wrote books that are praised for their accessibility and literary qualities, most of which are bestsellers. As Why Life Speeds Up As You Get Older (2001), which was awarded several prizes.
