    Episode 99: Soccer, Volleyball, basketball and motor sports

    In this episode of SPORT a lot of soccer. There are summaries of WKE - SWZ Boso Sneek, SVZW - ACV and HZVV - DOS'37. And a report of the basketball derby between Aris Leeuwarden and Donar from Groningen. Furthermore, a report of the Battle of the Nations from the TT-circuit in Assen in and a portrait about volleyball player Fenna Zeinstra.

    Soccer: WKE - SWZ Boso Sneek
    Saturday at Sportpark Big Geert, WKE and SWZ Boso Sneek will stand against each other. WKE started strong in the competition and even stood as first in the top class Sunday. However, after the 4-1 defeat by AFC and the loss against Hercules, the euphoria in Emmen has tempered. SWZ Boso Sneek has started off to a spectacular season. The team of coach Berry Zandink is going trough high peaks and deep valleys. SWZ Boso Sneek surprisingly won by De Treffers, but was at home with 0-7 lost HSC'21 from Haaksbergen. The shape of the day is essential for Sneek return with a good result at home.

    Soccer: HZVV - DOS'37
    HZVV is making a good start in the Hoofdklasse Zaterdag. The team from Hoogeveen was unbeaten, even after the first four games. However, the team lost from Harkemase Boys last Saturday. The team of trainer Karlo Meppelink can make a come-back this weekend against DOS'37 from Vriezenveen.

    Soccer: SVZW - ACV
    The team from Wierden didn’t start off to a very good season and is currently ranked on the 12th place. ACV is doing better and is ranked 5th. Last season the same match ended in a 1-1 draw. Who will win this match this time?

    Basketball: Aris Leeuwarden - Donar
    The basketball league has started this week. Coming Saturday there is a big match on the schedule. Aris Leeuwarden will play against Donar from Groningen. Last Tuesday, Donar won the first league match against Weert, but a few days earlier, the team lost from Den Bosch in the battle for the Super Cup. For Aris this will be the first real game as they have only played a few matches to practise their skills so far.

    Motor sports: Battle of the Nations in Assen
    The final races of the road-races of the Open Dutch Championship will take place in a new way this year. For the first time the TT-circuit in Assen organises The Battle of the Nations. Besides the finals in classes Supersport, Superbikes and Sidecars also the BeneCup championships will take place. Besides the competitions, there are special demonstrations and there is live music.

    Volleyball: Portrait Fenna Zeinstra
    Fenna Zeinstra is a volleyball player off VC Sneek. Last season she became Dutch champion together with her team. This year VC Sneek will try to live up to that performance. Zeinstra combined her volleybal career  for several years with kaatsen. Also here she performed at the highest level, but a few weeks ago she had to make the decision to quit with kaatsen.
