Episode 6: The "Nieuwe Kolk" in Assen
Wednesday, 21 October 2015 at 17.32 hours
In Toneelmeesters we take a glimpse behind the scenes of both large, well-known theatres and small, unknown venues. This week we visit De Nieuwe Kolk in Assen.
Operational manager Paul Nieman and programmer Annelies Klunder show Arno around in the theatre, that’s buzzing with activity. In the upper hall Roodpaleis is rehearsing.
Downstairs, Arno runs into comedian Bert Visscher, who’s busy with the set-up of tonight’s show. Audio engineer Twan Mensen explains what ‘pink noise’ is and Arno and Bert have a rendez-vous.
