    Episode 8: Van Beresteyn Veendam

First aired: Wednesday, 4 November 2015 at 17.32 hours

In Toneelmeesters, we get to take a look behind the scenes at both large well-known theaters and small unknown venues. This week we are guests at the Van Beresteyn Theatre in Veendam.

The Van Beresteyn Theatre in Veendam is the living and cultural heart of the city. Director Simon Scholtens takes Arno on a tour through this theatre and shows us how they change it from theatre to a cinema. The theatre has multiple fuctions. Not only does it function as a theatre and cinema, it also functions as a museum, a place where art is shown or you can take music classes there. Stage master Kor Kuiper tells us more about the theatre and, as every week, a tip of the programmer. Additionally in this episode an extensive theater schedule of theater stages of the Northern Netherlands.
