    Soccer: WKE – Hercules
WKE is performing relatively well in the Sunday Topklasse this season. However, they lost their last two matches, therefore they really want to win against Hercules. Unfortunately the men from Emmen are having bigger troubles: due to financial difficulties the club seemed to go bankrupt, while the committee resigned. Tjeerd Boonstra saved the club, by becoming the new chairperson.

The basketball derby between Aris Leeuwarden and Donar from Groningen is a battle between the numbers four and five of the Dutch Basketball League. Matches between these two teams are always special, when taking place in Leeuwarden. In the first home match of this season, Aris played against Donar as well. The team of Michael Schuurts lost with 65-73. Donar’s coach Erik Braal and player Lance Jeter share a history with Aris. Braal coached the team during the succesfull season 2012/2013, Jeter used to be a player of Aris four years ago.

    Korfball: LDODK – AW/DTV
Before the start of the season LDODK had high expectations. A spot in the top four and qualification for the play-offs was their ambition. However the team of coach Erik Wolsink lost last four games and now, after eight games being played, the team only has six points. LDODK needs a victory, therefore winning at home against AW/DTV from Amsterdam is a must.
