    In 2014 the state university Groningen celebrated it's 400 year long existance. Does that make the Groningse university the oldest one of the North?

    In de werkkamer van Aletta Jacobs in het Groninger Universiteitsmuseum vertelt conservator Rolf ter Sluis over de oprichting van de Rijksuniversiteit door Ubbo Emmius in augustus 1614. Maar de sleutel naar de oplossing blijkt al snel niet in Groningen, maar in Friesland te liggen.
