Saskia Jenne Stuiveling child of a writing father and mother, became the accountant of the Netherlands. Until recently she was President of the Court, the Hague watchdog where she had three hundred employees keep a keen eye on the spending of the state. Stuiveling is the daughter from Strobos coming from literary Garmt Stuiveling who was a celebrity in mid last century in the Netherlands, also in political and administrative grounds in the precursors of the PvdA.
Political blood apparently flows through the veins of his daughter who was Secretary of State in the Van Agt parliament and is still a member of the PvdA. Although a great career, she thinks her modesty played tricks with her. Somehow she says, "Modesty took me ten years."
