Episode 34: Tim SluisFirst aired: Tuesday, 15 March 2016 at 18.24 hours
Tim Sluis is the founder of the Groninger design agency Studio Wolf. "We are a design agency interface - we make include apps and websites."
Studio Wolf is not very big, with five employees. But Sluis founded several companies. "I only go on with Studio Wolf, because I want to focus me." As a child he built himself all games. "I'm the only entrepreneur in my family. My father regrets that he never started his own business, "says Sluis. Sluis briefly worked for TNO. "The nine to five culture is not for me," he says. "I'm not a morning person."
Meanwhile, the operator has moved from Groningen to Amsterdam. "Last summer I was in internet mecca Silicon Valley. There cooperating very well. In the Netherlands we are too individualistic. "He also learned that you can work well at a distance, because Studio Wolf is in Groningen. "I go back once a week," says Lock. "But there are also customers in Amsterdam." The coolest thing came out of the van Sluis sleeve? "Studio Wolf himself I think. We just want to not be greater than fifteen employees, it becomes too much to manage and lose quality. "Good ICT professionals are hard to find, know Sluis. "The fastest practical solution is to pay more." But Sluis is also already working on new stuff. "I do not want my whole life to do the same."
