Billy Dans & Ferry Doedens – Jij schijnt naar mij (from Friesland)
Billy Dans is a rapper/singer and singer-songwriter. He is multi-talented and has chosen for it at a young age. His father owned a café in Amsterdam and Billy came soon into contact with the torch song. Yet he has not chosen for sentimental torch songs but for writing lyrics and rap. Billy has partnered with the Frisian Ferry Doedens which he made songs with such as “Jij schijnt naar mij” and “Droom over jou”.
Wat Aans! - Doe bist er nog nait (from Groningen)
What Aans! consists of two very good friends “Ingewikkeld and “Beunhaas”. It soon became clear that they both had a great fondness for partying and beer. These two friends have been very ordinary and make ordinary Groningen pop music.
MakeBelieve - Cry Like Wolves (from Groningen)
You can say that every MakeBelieve song has a special power. They find a place in your head and try to stay there as long as possible. Inspired by bands like Paramore and The Main they give their music a more cheerful twist to the indy rock genre.
Mark Pot – Waar ben jij? (from Groningen)
Mark was born in Stadskanaal, but now lives in the Randstad. He started as a HipHop/Dance vocalist, but soon that changed he got more inspired to pop music. The song "Waar ben jij?" is therefore a perfect pop ballad.
Die Twa - Fûgels (from Friesland)
Krijn Dijkstra and Jacob Dijkstra did not had any idea that they would ever be presented as the new pop duo Die Twa from Friesland twelve years ago. First they started as the band Infinity, but later on they were the marvelous duo Die Twa. End of December 2015 they gave their last farewell concert.
