Jan Henk de Groot – Dubbelcassettedeck (from Groningen)
Jan Henk de Groot became famous when he won several major prizes. In 2007, the band stopped because his son Riff was born with an esophageal closure. Jan Henk wrote songs for his son, that was his way of dealing with it. Like keeping a diary, he wrote ten songs about the concerns, hopes and setbacks.
ROO – Alive and Kicking (from Overijssel)
The band plays pop music that reminds you of the 60s. The music does not go unnoticed and as the band has many gigs in the north of Overijssel and Drenthe.
Lars Koehoorn – Still Waters Run Deep (from Groningen)
Lars Koehoorn is a young and upcoming singer-songwriter with a distinctive deep clear voice from Winschoten.
Aphranova – Setbacks (from Drenthe)
Aphranova is an energetic and musical companionship and with its mix of pop, soul and jazz flavours ready for the big stage.
Mooi Wark – Vaya Con Dios (from Drenthe)
As big fans of Normaal, Bert Koops and Henk Oosting began to compose their own songs in the Drents language. Soon Mooi Wark will launch their fourteenth album. The men are busy writing new songs for the album that has to be finished by late May.
