Town of Saints – No Place Like You (from Groningen)
The Dutch/Finnish Town of Saints started as a busking act in 2010, when Harmen Ridderbos (lead vocal/guitar) and Heta Salkolahti (violin/vocals) met each other in the mountains of Austria. The following five years the duo toured extensively throughout Europe. Meanwhile transforming from an upbeat indie-folk act to a five-headed groove-machine.
Stuart Mavis – Ocean (from Groningen)
Stuart Mavis is a young singer-songwriter from Groningen who seeks out the tension between pop, folk and hip-hop. He was inspired by Kendrick Lamar, The Beatles, Kanye West and Bob Dylan. When he is sober, he writes melancholic pop songs that illustrate the strong bitter, nihilistic nature of our era.
The Movement – Fly Away (from Groningen)
Just Rock! That's how the four guys from The Movement describe their music. No fuss but hard, raw and pure. This energetic band is originated in the earthquake area of Groningen and has influences from Foo Fighters and Thin Lizzy.
A Silent Express – Starborne (from Friesland)
A Silent Express is an indie rock band with influences from new wave, pop and psychedelic music. The band members are from Heerenveen and inspired by bands like Duran Duran and Simple Minds.

Nick Zutphen – 10 x Bigger Than Love (from Friesland)
A teen pop artist who debuted in 2012, singer and songwriter Nick Zutphen was born in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. He was raised by his in a small town called Weidum and moved to Amsterdam in 2015. His mix of pop and indie appealed to a wide range audience over the internet.
