Dutch Drents poet watches over a hundred Dutch water pump stations.

Marga Kool has many different talents, she is a versatile person. Because as she looks back, she has traveled several paths in her carrier. Margo Kool comes from a farmer family which roamed trough the Netherlands and they eventually settled in Drenthe. Initially as head of the nursery school, she also felt political ambitions and so she climbed her way up from the City Council Zuidwolde to provincial politics in Drenthe. She even became commissioner of environment and culture.

But her carrier does not end here. Marga Kool is also a writer and a poet and won several prizes. She publishes in the Drents language and is committed to also make the Drenthe political language and recognition of Low Saxon as regional language.

Addition to her authorship , she is also chair of Water Reest and Wieden and watches over a hundred water pump stations, eight treatment plants and nearly one hundred kilometers embankments and dikes around Drenthe towns and villages.
