Tangerine - Christmas should never be spend alone (from Drenthe)

As low as their twelfth year, the brothers Sander and Arnout Brinks music together. They were heavily influenced at that time by the folk tradition of the sixties . In the years that followed , they released four albums independently.

Syb vd Ploeg & Gé Reinders - Ich haaj van dij (from Friesland)

Syb van der Ploeg (15 June 1966) - singer , composer and lyricist. The musical career of this charismatic singer starts in the mid 80s. SYB get national fame as the frontman of de Kast , one of the most popular Dutch bands , mid 90. In the ten years of its existence, the group won a dozen gold and platinum records on hold , as well as some TMF Awards and Edison best live act.

Swinder - Kerst in Stad (from Groningen)

Born and raised in the shadow of Groningen city and with a limited vocabulary to Groninger ' moi' singer-songwriter Bass Schröder ( 1983) know nothing of the dialect spoken in the village.

Town of Saints - Going back in time (from Groningen)

The Dutch/Finnish indie folk band Town of Saints is based in Groningen, the Netherlands, but isn’t at home very often. The Saints started out as street-musicians when the couple Harmen Ridderbos (vocals/guitar) and Heta Salkolahti (violin/vocals) met each other in Austria, and evolved into the modern indiefolk-band later on when other musicians joined the collective.

Sväva - Flown (from Friesland)

From trips they made together through Scotland, England and France frontwoman Bente Wood and guitarist Michelle Hindriks took inspiration for the songs Svava. Dreamy vocals and echoing guitar riffs , combined with steady drums and walk -income samples, forms the foundation of the music of the indie / dreampop band: music that displays the art of contradiction.
