Inge van Calkar - Holding on to you (from Groningen)

Inge Calkar is probably one of the few singer-songwriters who bears in the hall where she plays not have to be quiet. She loves to turn her audience because of her energetic songs to the ears. She has a penchant for folk, but in her own numbers should mostly sit much energy. The occurrence has another important function for the Groningse. In addition to a music career, she works parttime as a psychologist.

The Homesick - Cut your hair (from Friesland)

The Homesick is a wow-fi post-pop band from Dokkum. Intense boredom, puberty and the impact of the world wide web in northern Friesland are the driving force for these three. Together they make pointed, transverse and often catchy pop songs mixed with the noise of a dusty tape recorder.

Town of Saints - Stand up (from Groningen)

The Dutch/Finnish indie folk band Town of Saints is based in Groningen, the Netherlands, but isn’t at home very often. The Saints started out as street-musicians when the couple Harmen Ridderbos (vocals/guitar) and Heta Salkolahti (violin/vocals) met each other in Austria, and evolved into the modern indiefolk-band later on when other musicians joined the collective.

Orange Skyline - I don't mind (from Drenthe)

Orange skyline is a Dutch Indy band formed in 2012. Drawing inspiration from 1960’s mod bands, Gainsbourgian French pop and Mancunian rock and roll bravado. They produce clever songs with an instantly recognizable catchy sound.

Rianne and Ingewikkeld - Groningse gast (from Groningen)

The summer hit of the summer of 2009 from Groningen. The rapper Ingewikkeld now joins the hiphop group What Aans! The music is mainly based on the life he leads and of the things he loves.
