Last year proved a sensational year for The Common Linnets and 2015 looks set to be even better. In 2014 the band stole people’s hearts at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen. With their haunting, evocative song Calm After The Storm they enchanted millions of viewers, leaving many wanting to discover more about them.

We Fall Slowly plays hard, but melodic music that is born from a mix of alternative rock from the 90s and a good dose of indie / emo from the years '00. Imbued with melancholy, despair and hope. We Fall Slowly is known for its energetic live act, dynamic and strong compositions.

Jan Smit & Kraantje Pappie –- Handen Omhoog (from Groningen)

Kraantje Pappie grew up in Rozenburg near Rotterdam and attended high school in Groningen. Because of his successful judo career he lived for a time in Haarlem. As rapper Kraantje Pappie represents Groningen.

Inge van Calkar –- Leave This Town (from Groningen)

Inge Calkar is probably one of the few singer-songwriters who bears in the hall where she plays not have to be quiet. She loves to turn her audience because of her energetic songs to the ears. She has a penchant for folk, but in her own numbers should mostly sit much energy. The occurrence has another important function for the Groningse. In addition to a music career, she works parttime as a psychologist.

Rum & Skunk – Vakman (from Groningen)

The three rappers Transparent (Jurriaan) Rengtebeng (Ewout) and Bahz (Douwe) meet in the spring of 2012 and decide to make some music in the studio of Douwe. It starts very casual, but it soon becomes apparent that they feel each other perfectly in terms of style.
