    In this episode of SPORT we have a special guest. Jannick de Jong won the world titel grass track racing last weekend. Also a summary of the soccer match between Harkemase Boys and VV Staphorst. Furthermore, a report of the British Super Bike at the TT circuit in Assen. Also the gymnastics match in Sportstad Heerenveen between the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy and the part two of the portrait on the family Vlap from Sneek.

    Grass track racing

    We welcome Jannick de Jong as our guest in the studio!

    Earlier this season, he managed to win the European title for the third time in a row. This weekend was the fourth and final round of the world championships in the French Morizès. De Jong made it through to the A Final with three points in the lead. In the A-final Jannick grabbed not only the stage victory but with a wide lead in points, he also grabbed the world title.

    In 2013 and 2014 he finished second in the race for the world championship.

    Harkemase Boys - VV Staphorst

    Next Saturday Harkemase Boys will play  against VV Staphorst. Both teams have won once this season. Harkemase Boys defeated DOS'37 from Vriezenveen with 0-9. VV Staphorst didn’t play well  last Saturday, but  won with  2-1 against CSV Apeldoorn.

    DOS - Dalfsen

    The ladies of DOS from Emmer-Compascuum achieved ??their first victory of this season last weekend. The team of coach Rob Fiege won with 26-31 against SEW from Nibbixwoud. Next weekend DOS is playing at home against Dalfsen. That team was champion of the Netherlands  the last five years in a row.

    HHC Hardenberg - GVVV

    Next Saturday HHC Hardenberg will play  against GVVV from Veenendaal. A game between the numbers nine and eleven in rankings. So far HHC has won two of the four games. Last week the team won with 2-1 against FC Lisse.

    SWZ Boso Sneek - HSC'21

    Next Sunday SWZ Boso Sneek will play against HSC'21 from Haaksbergen. SWZ Boso Sneek has collected  four points so far and is in the middle of the rankings. HSC'21 is tranked last in the league this season and has no points for so far.

    Interland Netherlands - Belgium - Italy

    In the run-up to the World Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow, three matches are held for the team of the Netherlands. This weekend, the Dutch team will perform in Heerenveen against teams from Italy and Belgium. Two strong opponents, because they will also strive for a ticket to the Olympic Test Event or the Olympic Games.

    British Superbikes of Assen

    This weekend the British Superbike Championship will take place in Assen. The TT Circuit is the only track outside the UK, where the BSB is held. A great engine circus for the crowd. In the Moto3 class there are seven Dutch drivers are on the starting list this year. Scott Deroue is the ultimate public favourite.

    Portrait family Vlap (Part 2 )

    Last week we took a look into family Vlap from Sneek. There is almost everything soccer. Jan is coach of Harkemase Boys and son Michel plays with the youth of sc Heerenveen. He is also a youth international. His brother Patrick also played football for many years, but unfortunately had to stop due to an injury and now he is a DJ. Mother Tineke is a big fan of her husband and sons.
