In 'Muziek uit het Noorden' (Music from the North) video clips are broadcasted from artists from the North of the Netherlands. Well known and lesser known artists come along. With a weekly dose of video clips, with something for everyone! In this episode:
Harten 10 – Hou Me Vast (from Overijssel)
During a big pirate event in the summer of 2008 singers Martien and Tineke got in touch with each other, where the idea of recording a single together was formed. That's how their single 'Geleend' was made. The single was well received and that's how Harten 10 was formed. Although their music sounds more like Nederpop they have a pirateheart in them and are very loved on the many Mega Piraten Festijnen where they turn the places upside down.
Monique & Tim – Even Niet Hier (uit Friesland)
Tim Douwsma has done a lot of stuff in the entertainment business. In 2007 he found fame when he entered in the show 'So You Wanna Be a Popstar'. After that he's done a lot of things. He brought out multiple CD's, played a part in the film 'De Hel van '63' and was on shows such as Sterren Dansen op het IJs and Expeditie Robinson. He recorded multiple duets with Monique Smit and their collaboration turned out to be a really good thing.
De Troebadoers – In De Nacht (uit Groningen)
De Troebadoers is a trio that consists of Edwin Jongedijk, Alex Vissering and Jan Henk de Groot. These guys like to take you to their camp fire where music and northern connections feel like friendship. They like to share this feeling with their audience.
