    The Dutch band MakeBelieve is back after a radiosilence of three years. In these three years they have been working on a new album in secret. Their sound is catchy and energetic and the songs are more divers than they used to be. Their new single Follow has potential to become a big hit.

    Well-crafted pop songs which break down the borders between the dream world and reality. Mixed with influences from the eighties new wave period with nowadays indie music and you have the typical Duroc sound. The band released their new EP in December 2015 with their new single 'Laundry'.

    The Blind Roofers
    The Blind Roofers is a new music sensation from Groningen. The band mixes influences from the genres Americana and Classic Rock and puts them in a fresh and modern coat. It wasn't for nothing that this band was crowned winner of the POPgroningen Talent Awards.

    Before a musician on stage is, the written press, composed, rehearsed and just before the gig the time comes for the Soundcheck!

    Soundcheck is an music on Podium.TV. We are visiting a wide variety of musicians from the north. (Cover) bands, DJs, Dutch singers and singer-songwriters; musical northern Netherlands is discussed. Where they rehearse and how this is going to? How do you write a new song? And how does a CD presentation?

    So we end up in old garages, nostalgic rehearsal rooms, but also in professional studios and tasty busy music venues. Additionally, you can every week to enjoy a wide variety of video clips and a classic "golden oldies" from the old box.
