Duroc – On Fire (from Groningen)
Well-crafted pop songs which break down the borders between the dream world and reality. Mixed with influences from the eighties new wave period with nowadays indie music and you have the typical Duroc sound. The band released their new EP in December 2015 with their new single 'Laundry'.
Douwe Bob – Sweet Sunshine (from Friesland)
Fool Bar is from Friday, May 6th, 2016 launched, the third album from Douwe Bob. It is his most narrative and rich album. Musically diverse and also more American sounding than his previous albums.
Joost Marsman – Waar liefde begint (from Groningen)
In 1996 leadsinger Joost Marsman established the band IsOokSchitterend, together with friends of his fraternity. Soon all of the Netherlands knew their name, when they scored a hit with their single 'Voltooid verleden tijd' (Past Perfect). In the following years, the band released successful and less successful songs. In 2009 the band put a stop to their musical activities and Joost Marsman begins with a new project; Bruce by Marsman.
Skik – T Giet Zoals ‘T Giet (from Drenthe)
Skik debut at the regional language festival Muzem in Emmen in 1994. In 2005, they performed one last time on the birthdayparty of De Dijk. Daniel Lohues is mainly busy with solo projects.
Jelle B – Simpel (from Friesland)
It all began with a botched job as a cook on Ameland. From the kitchen, he ended up as a 16 year old boy on the terrace with guitar, and since then Jelle has done nothing more than make some good music.
